Privacy Policy
Effective August 9, 2026
EasyCut is a local Windows video editor published by IAM_DEV. This policy explains how the application and this informational website handle data.
Media and processing
Videos, images, and output files selected in EasyCut are processed locally on your device. EasyCut does not upload your media to an IAM_DEV server and does not operate a cloud media library. Your original files are not modified.
Processed results are first written to the EasyCut application output directory. You decide whether and where to save a separate copy. Temporary outputs and job records from the previous session are cleared when the application starts.
Accounts and local settings
EasyCut does not require an account. The application stores preferences such as interface language, launch count, and review-prompt status in a local SQLite database on your device.
Application logs
EasyCut writes local diagnostic logs to help identify processing and application errors. These logs remain on your device unless you choose to share relevant information with support.
External actions
EasyCut opens the Microsoft Store only when you choose a Store or rating action, and opens your email application only when you choose to contact support. Those third-party services apply their own privacy policies.
This website
This static website provides product information and video editing guides. It does not provide media upload or remote video-processing features.
Support
If you email support, IAM_DEV receives the information you voluntarily include and uses it to respond to your request. Avoid attaching private media unless it is necessary and you are comfortable sharing it.
